Upland Paths
MOA recently constructed a 500m new build section of machine built path in the Cairngorms, the above photograph shows the original damage zone 5-7m in places. Using as raised aggregate material the path was raised up and the ditches turf lined to prevent further scour, natural stone drainage features were also installed. The second photograph shows the success of the new path line, reducing erosion it has blended in extremely well.
