Lochan Uaine also known as the green loch is one of the highlands most iconic spots, attracting visitors from all over the world. This popularity prompted the Forestry Commission to Improve the access steps and create an all abilities path to a viewing platform. With the sensitivity of the site it was critical to award the contract to an experienced sensitive contractor. MOA designed the stone steps and retaining wall, incorporating weathered boulders into the edge maintaining the natural aesthetics and ensuring the construction was in keeping with the surroundings. The above photographs shows a mountaineering group admiring the view. The all abilities path and viewing platform give a spectacular view of the lochan.
