Above photographs show a road side wall in the Highlands, MOA were awarded a contract to repair collapsed sections and also construct new build sections which had past the point of repair. Our staff double up on sections building a side each this proves to be highly efficient and staff members work to the same style and speed. Our team of craftsmen continue to produce quality workmanship at competitive rates for a number of clients throughout Scotland.

Stonework

With our team of experienced dry stone dykers, we offer a wide range of services from garden walls to roadside walls, grouse butts, stone features and cladding. We use locally sourced material and advise, design, manage and construct as required.

An example of this service is grouse butt construction on highland estates, where working closely with the clients we designed and constructed innovative butts.

With thirteen years previous experience Ross McGowan established McGowan Outdoor Access (MOA). Our dedicated team complete projects to your requirements, on time to budget whilst focusing on low impact environmentally sensitive construction methods.

With the introduction of the Land Reform bill in 2003 and the increasing number of outdoor access activities, our aim is to facilitate access for all types of user groups from a family walk in the park to Munro bagging, cycling, running or horse riding. Also facilitating sporting events for Scotland’s estates and landowners.
