Above photographs show a road side wall in the Highlands, MOA were awarded a contract to repair collapsed sections and also construct new build sections which had past the point of repair. Our staff double up on sections building a side each this proves to be highly efficient and staff members work to the same style and speed. We are currently working on a private landowners property, constructing double sided perimeter dyking. The style consists of a mixture of pink granite and grey schist for aesthetic reasons. MOA can design and construct your garden as required also providing soft landscaping services including top soiling, turfing, fencing, raised flower beds and much more.

 

Parking Meters

FCS have introduced a parking metre system in parts Scotland, this will attempt to replenish funds cut from the government budget following our economic situation. MOA were sub contracted to construct ornamental dyking works around the meters to improve the appearance and make them less obtrusive.

 

Lochan Uaine Access Improvements

Lochan Uaine also known as the green loch is one of the highlands most iconic spots, attracting visitors from all over the world. This popularity prompted the Forestry Commission to Improve the access steps and create an all abilities path to a viewing platform. With the sensitivity of the site it was critical to award the contract to an experienced sensitive contractor. MOA designed the stone steps and retaining wall, incorporating weathered boulders into the edge maintaining the natural aesthetics and ensuring the construction was in keeping with the surroundings. The above photographs shows a mountaineering group admiring the view. The all abilities path and viewing platform give a spectacular view of the lochan.

 

 

Cairngorm Donation Boxes

CairnGorm Mountain Ltd (CML) have introduced a donation scheme aiming at raising funds for CML. The stone structures were designed by MOA incorporating stone seating and shelves as as requested by CNPA. Jim Cornfoot, the Mountain Land Manager said "the structures fit in naturally and will hopefully raise funds. The workmanship is of high quality and MOA give a prompt and professional service".
