Stonework
Thursday, 12 August 2010 00:00
With the good number of grouse in the last few years in the highlands, MOA have been working closely with highland estates to construct lines of quality stone built grouse butts. MOA plan, design, manage and construct butts best suited to the location, giving value for money and the most environmentally friendly option.
We have specialist equipment and trained personnel to construct butts in difficult and sensitive locations. MOA constructed eight lines of butts in 2010 in two separate locations. With another eight lines to be constructed in 2011.

We also offer both hand and machine build hard engineering bank stabilisation services, including gabion baskets and armour rock revetment.
Carrbridge Riverside Path Construction
Lowland Paths
Friday, 19 March 2010 00:00
The original path was in poor condition and Cairngorm Outdoor Access Trust (COAT) got the go ahead to improve the length of the 1km path, using imported materials. Works included realignments of the path at the flood damaged section, away from the river.
Replacement of existing fences and improvements were made along the length of the path including stone revetments, benches and gates all the way to Ellan Bridge and onto the south side of the river to the pony treking stables. This created a circular walk of a very high standard accessible to most users from the centre of the village.
