Groundwork
Cairngorm Mountain appointed MOA to replace an existing timber bridge with a large wheolite culvert pipe, the aim of the project to allow the piste machines to utilise snow from the car park for the lower slopes in winter and create a more natural structure for tourism in summer. As the photograph shows the pipe ends were lined with natural rock creating a large stone head wall, this allowed the pipe to be disguised and fit in with the natural surroundings. We provide a range of groundwork services from drainage, site preparation, concreting and much more.
